could we do Italy next summer?
Fred

Italy next summer looks worth exploring! 🇮🇹 Your shared budget projects about $3,745 CAD left per month, assuming income and spending stay as planned, but that doesn’t yet tell us what the trip would cost or what else you may need that money for.

How many people would go, and roughly how long would you stay? If you already have a budget in mind, that would help too.

Common questions

Every 2 weeks or twice a month?

Every 2 weeks means a payment every 14 days, modeled as 26 payments a year. Twice a month means two payments each month, or 24 a year. Choose your employer’s schedule. The main amount is an average; open the paycheque breakdown to see individual payments.

Why might my actual paycheque be different?

This is an estimate for steady pay from one employer for a full year. Pension and employment insurance contributions have annual limits, so deductions can change later in the year. Benefits, union dues, bonuses, an unusual pay calendar and working in a different province can also change what your employer deposits.

Can I include retirement contributions?

Yes. Open the optional RRSP or FHSA section to estimate tax-filing savings from personal annual contributions. They do not change the paycheques shown here. The estimate assumes you have contribution room; a tax refund is separate from payroll pay.

Are my entered amounts saved?

No account is required, and the financial amounts you enter in this calculator are not stored.
